Clashes against Turkish-backed factions west of Manbij kill a commander in Thowwar Idlib Brigade

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a leader and the injury of others in SDF ranks, after an infiltration operation carried out by fighters of Thowwar Idlib Brigade this morning; against positions of Turkish-backed factions in Kridiyyeh village in the western countryside of Manbij city east of Aleppo, while violent clashes took place for hours and caused deaths in the ranks of the factions loyal to Turkey.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll among the Syria Democratic Forces, military councils and internal security forces since the start of the Turkish military operation on Wednesday afternoon have risen to 446. The SOHR also documented the death of 30 members of the regime forces as a result of a missile targeting by the Turkish-backed factions on the areas of north-west of Manbij and the east of Ayn Issa town in positions of the regime forces’ deployment. Meanwhile, the number of deaths among Syrian factions loyal to Ankara and the pro-Turkey cells killed in the attacks and clashes against the SDF during the same period reached 377, including 21 of the cells loyal to Ankara killed in clashes with the SDF, in addition to 11 Turkish soldiers were killed during the battels, amid information about more dead Turks on the Turkish-Syrian border, and the number of those killed is likely to rise due to the high number of wounded, some of them in serious cases.
