Turkish forces bombard Russian command headquarters in west Manbij countryside, forcing civilians to flee

Syrian Observatory sources say that Turkish forces fired several rockets targeting areas in Arima, Al-Khalidyah, Al-Kawkilli, Al-Layyani and Jib Al-Hamraa which are under control of Manbij Military Council and regime forces in the western countryside of Manbij.

According to SOHR sources, the Turkish bombardment on Arima, targeted the Russian command headquarters and the headquarters of the Internal Security Forces. No casualties have been reported so far. Also tens of civilians fled their areas escaping the recent bombardment on the area.

Observatory activists have also reported that the Turkish forces stationed in Sheikh Naser military base fired several rockets on Arima town in the west of Manbij city, north-east of Aleppo. The shelling left civilian casualties and killed four regime soldiers and loyalists, while five other regime soldiers sustained various injuries. Tens of civilians fled their homes because of the intensive and ongoing Turkish shelling.
