Turkey brings in 750 military vehicles to NW Syria since the new ceasefire came into effect

Syrian Observatory sources have reported seeing a new Turkish military column of 100 military units, crossing into Syria via Kafr Lusin crossing on the border with Iskenderun region. Turkey keeps sending more military reinforcement to the “de-escalation” zone since the new ceasefire in the area came into effect last Friday, bringing the number of military units it brought into NW Syria to 750. Turkish sent hundreds of soldiers during the same period, as well.

From February 2 to date, SOHR activists monitored the entry of more than 4,150 trucks and military vehicles to the Syrian territory, including tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles, mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars. Meanwhile the number of Turkish soldiers who were deployed during the same period in Idlib and Aleppo exceeded 9,200.
