18 Iraqis killed in airstrikes on Popular Mobilization headquarters in Al-Bukamal countryside near Iraqi border

The Syrian Observatory has documented this morning casualties as a result of airstrikes, 18 members of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces were killed in al-Hassian area in al-Bukamal area.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored this morning shelling carried out by three unidentified aircraft targeting Al-Imam Ali base and al-Hassian area in al-Bukamal area near the border with Iraq, which is being used by pro-Iranian militias as military headquarters.

SOHR sources have reported that at least ten explosions were heard in the area. No casualties have been reported to date.

On January 10, the Syrian Observatory documented casualties as a result of airstrikes targeting pro-Iranian militias on Syria-Iraq border on Friday morning. At least eight people of non-Syrian citizens were killed in airstrikes, which are still unknown, on warehouses and vehicles belonging to the pro-Iranian Popular Mobilization Forces in al-Bukamal area on Syria-Iraq border.
