Tense calm prevails in the “de-escalation zone” as new ceasefire enters its 12th day

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored tense calm prevailing throughout the area of “Putin-Erdogan” as the new ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone” enters its 12th consecutive day. Meanwhile, Russia and Syrian regime have been suspending aerial operations.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported seeing military reinforcement of regime forces and Iranian militias arriving at frontlines in Idlib countryside. Regime forces brought in columns to frontlines of Jabal al-Zawiya and south Idlib countryside, while Iranian-backed militias and Lebanese Hezbollah moved their forces from Aleppo countryside to Saraqeb.

The Syrian Observatory monitored several violations on the new ceasefire’s 11th day represented by factions’ targeting to regime excavator on Hazarin frontline, south of Idlib. For their part, regime forces fired several missiles targeting Kabana frontline in rural Latakia and the connecting roads in western countryside of Idlib.
