Clashes renew between Turkish-backed factions and Kurdish forces north-west of Aleppo

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syrian Observatory activists have confirmed that clashes erupted in the early hours of Saturday morning, between Turkish-backed factions and Kurdish forces in Barrad area, north-west of Aleppo city. The clashes coincided with exchange of fire with artillery and heavy machineguns, leaving casualties in the ranks of both warring sides.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxies fired several artillery shells, targeting Tal Jijan village in Kurdish-held areas in northern Aleppo. No casualties were reported.

SOHR sources also reported on April 2 that Turkish forces stationed nearby Afrin fired several rockets, targeting the areas of Al-Zeyyara, Bayinah and Aqbiyah of the Kurdish-controlled township of Shirawa, south of Afrin city. No casualties were documented.
