Turkish shelling resumes on Kurdish-controlled areas, north of Aleppo

The Syrian Observatory has monitored today artillery shelling by Turkish forces from their bases north of Aleppo, targeting the towns of Maranaz and Al-Malikia and the perimeter of Meng military airport in areas held by Kurdish forces, north of Aleppo.

Turkish-backed factions have shelled Basufan frontline, north of Aleppo. No casualties have been reported yet.

The Syrian Observatory monitored hours ago intensive shelling with tens of rockets by Turkish forces on several areas held by Kurdish and regime forces in northern and north-western countryside of Aleppo. Scope of the Turkish shelling expanded to include Tal Rifaat, Sheikh Helal, Kashtar camp, Kafr Antwan, Al-Irshadiyah, Maraanaz and Al-Malikiyah.

SOHR sources reported this morning that Turkish forces and their proxies renewed rocket attacks on areas held by Kurdish and regime forces in northern countryside of Aleppo. Areas in the villages of Oqaybah, Sawghankah, Ziyyarah, Deir Jamal and Bienah in Shirawa township in north-western Aleppo came under intensive artillery shelling by Turkish forces. The shelling injured a civilian in Oqaybah village, while a regime soldier was killed and other soldiers sustained various injuries.
