Police officer of Turkish-backed factions infected with Coronavirus and local councils open quarantine centers in Al-Raqqa countryside

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that an officer of Turkish-backed police in Tal Abyad was infected with Coronavirus, while all his colleagues in the department were quarantined.

The local council in Tal Abyad has set up an emergency center at two schools in the city to quarantine the suspected cases.

SOHR sources have confirmed that several coronavirus cases had been suspected in the past few hours, including fighters of Turkish-backed factions and two young men from the town of Suluk. They were all quarantined.

This comes after the clinics of Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad were transformed into quarantine centers for the infected cases from Turkey.
