Israeli drone bombs military vehicle in Rif Dimashq near Syria-Lebanon border

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that an Israeli drone bombed a military vehicle (Jeep), believed to be affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah, near Jadid Yabous crossing at Syria-Lebanon border this afternoon.

The vehicle was hit with two missiles which caused substantial material damage. The fate of the vehicle’s passengers is yet to be known.

On March 31, Observatory activists monitored bombardment by Israeli jets from the airspace of Lebanon, targeted Al-Shayrat airbase in Homs with more than eight missiles.

SOHR sources reported hearing explosions believed to be caused by anti-aircraft defences while intercepting these strikes.

SOHR sources reported that day that a cargo plane had shuttled between Al-Shayrat and T4 airbases before Israeli strikes.
