Regime forces shell rural latakia as tense calm continues in “Putin-Erdogan” area, and high-ranking regime officer killed east of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented today the death of a high-ranking regime officer in the “25th Division” as a result of a landmine explosion.

On the other hand, regime forces stationed in rural Latakia shelled al-Haddada frontline in the same rural. No casualties have been reported yet.

Apart from that, tense calm continues throughout the “Putin-Erdogan” area as the new ceasefire enters its 50th consecutive day.

The Syrian Observatory monitored, on Friday morning, artillery shelling by regime forces targeting places in Al-Bara and Kansafra in Jabal al-Zawiya in southern rural Idlib.

Meanwhile, reconnaissance drones flew over the southern sector of rural Idlib after midnight.
