New armed fight erupts among Turkish-backed factions in rural Ras al-Ain

SOHR activists say that members Turkish-backed 20th Division targeted a vehicle providing catering service in the village of Harobi, west of Ras al-Ain.

In the meantime, clashes broke out with machine guns between members of Ahrar al-Sharqiya and others of the 20th Division. No casualties have been reported.

On April 23, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes with various types of weapons in the evening, among the factions of military operation “Peace Spring”, in the villages of Um Ushba and Tal Mohammed in rural Ras al-Ain, north of Al-Hasaka.

According to Observatory sources, clashes erupted following disputes between the factions of the “National Army” over sharing of some stolen goods in the area.
