Regime shelling interrupts calm prevailing in the “de-escalation zone” as ceasefire enters its 58th day

SOHR sources have monitored tense calm prevailing in the area of “Putin-Erdogan” in the 58th consecutive day of the new ceasefire in the area, amid suspension of regime and Russian aerial bombardment since ceasefire came into effect. However, the area experience daily violations of ground shelling and sporadic attacks, especially in Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo.

In this context, regime forces fired several rockets after midnight, targeting places in Jabal Al-Zawiyah.

Yesterday, SOHR reported that regime forces shelled Kansafra and Al-Bara in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib with rockets. Otherwise, tense calm is prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone”.
