Warplanes attack areas around the city of al- Raqqa

Al- Raqqa Province:

SOHR activist had been informed that 3 warplanes, expected to be affiliated to US- led coalition, carried out several airstrikes targeting the Division 17 area north of the city of al- Raqqa, information reported casualties, where ambulances were seen going from the bombardment area towards the hospitals in the city of al- Raqqa.  

 

SOHR published yesterday that 2 leading figures in “Islamic State” killed in the airstrikes carried out yesterday morning by warplanes, expected to US- led coalition once, on places in the province of al- Hasakah.

 

The sources confirmed to SOHR activists in the two provinces of al- Hasakah and Deir Ezzor that the first leading figure is Abo Osama al- Iraqi “al- Barak State Wali” who is one of the most prominent leading figures entered to Syria coming from Iraq in late 2011 and who played major role in the split that occurred in 2013 between Jabhat al- Nusra and ISIS when he declared establishing “ISIS”, while the other is Abo Amer al- Rafdan who the ex- wali of “al- Kheir State” and who played the main role in IS control over the province of Deir Ezzor – his birthplace, where he was sent to Iraq to hold leading positions there after the disputes that broke out inside the organization in the province of Deir Ezzor and that the Wali must be from Muhajereen (the Jihadists who come from outside Syria) because they are the vast majority among the fighters in the province.
