The tension still prevails in the city of Lattakia and its countryside after the funeral of the colonel Hassan al- Sheikh killed by the son of Bashar al- Assad’s cousin

The tension is still prevailing in the city of Lattakia and its countryside after the funeral of the colonel Hassan al- Sheikh – the officer in the air force – who was killed 2 days ago by Sulaiman al- Assad – the son of Bashar al- Assad cousin and the son of the leader of NDF Hlal al- Assad who were killed in March 23, 2014 – where Sulaiman al- Assad shot the colonel in front of his children at al- Azhari Roundabout in the center of Lattakia city because the car of the colonel exceeded Sulaiman’s one. It is noted that, the wife of Sulaiman al- Assad’s brother and his brothers have disowned his actions. Meanwhile, Sulaiman al- Assad has tried to acquit himself after being investigated by the regime authorities, amid ongoing calls and angry reactions inside the people of Alawi sect and in the city of Lattakia demanding the execution of Sulaiman al- Assad.
