Violent clashes west of Palmyra and the “Islamic State” advance there, and clashes in the northern countryside of Homs

Homs Province:
The warplanes bombed areas in al-Qaryatayn city in the southeastern countryside of Homs, while clashes are still taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” in al-Doweh area west of Palmyra city in the eastern countryside of Homs, amid advancement for the organization in the area and information about their control over large parts of the area, and information about casualties among both parties, also clashes took place in the northern outskirts of al-Rastan city between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic Factions, and information about casualties among both parties, clashes also took place between both sides in the vicinity of the villages of al-Mahatta and Snisl in the northern countryside of Homs, the regime forces also bombed areas in the villages of Jwalak, Snisl and al-Mahatta near the town of al-Dar al-Kabira in the northern countryside of Homs.

Tartous Province:
An officer from the regime forces was killed during clashes against the rebel and Islamic Factions in the northern countryside of Homs.
