“Adultery, witchcraft and mocking the Holy Quran” are the charges of executting a member from the “Islamic State” and his mother-in-law

Deir Ezzor Province:
The activists of the Syrian Observatory for human rights were able to document the execution of a woman and the man who carried out the execution at last Saturday 6th of February 2016 in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where a member in the “Islamic State” organization from Homs province, and his mother-in-law is from the countryside of Deir Ezzor, both of them are living in al-Mayadin city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the organization executed them both by separating their heads from their bodies by the sword, then they hang the member’s body only on al-Bakra roundabout in the city of al-Mayadin and kept the body for a period of 3 days, and both of them were executed on charges of “adultery, witchcraft and mocking the Holy Qur’an”, and the execution carried out amid gathered citizens, including children.
