Residents accuse Jabhat Al-Nusra of killing a citizen under torture in a prison for “stealing firewood”
A man from the town of KafrSajneh in the southern countryside of Idlib was killed, the civil sources from the area accused Jabhat Al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Levant) of killing him under torture after arresting him on charges of “his son stole firewood” where the bruise and signs of brutal beat and burns appeared on his body as a result torture, where we published two days ago that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of a video for the young man “H. M. A.” about 16-year-old show, his body showed signs of violent torture, and intersecting sources informed the activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in Aleppo that the young man is from al-Halawaniyah area in the neighborhood of Tariq al-Bab at Aleppo city, he was arrested by the security establishment in Aleppo -which belong to al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah- on charges of “theft” where he was brutally tortured and beaten for hours by members of the security establishment in one of their headquarters, then they released him after his confession “which they have extracted from him under torture” due to the lack of evidence, and brought him to his house, then his brother moved him to a hospital for treatment, and after returning him to his home he was arrested again, the young man was in the protection of Jabhat Al-Nusra during the period of treatment, he appeared in video recorded before the treatment, he said in the video that he was beaten by a member from al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah , and that he was tied to iron chains through the torture period which was on the roof of the headquarters, the signs of brutal beating are visible clearly all over the young man’s body, who is still detained by the security establishment, and there is no information about his fate yet, where sources confirmed to the observatory that the security establishment prevented visiting the detained young man, and there is no clue about the reasons of this prevention.
