Russian airstrikes kill 20 militants allied to IS in Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR was informed that no less than 20 militants in a faction allied to IS were killed during the past 24 hours by aerial bombardment by Russian warplanes in Khanaser town. Clashes taking place between regime forces backed by non-Syrian militants against IS around Khanaser town and other areas between Aleppo and Khanaser in the southern eastern countryside, in an attempt by regime forces to re-take control on the town and open the strategic only road between Middle Syria and the west. Russian warplanes raided al-Atarib town what killed 4 civilians including a child and wounded others. Explosive barrels targeted Berj al-Hussein village in al-Hess mount in the southern countryside, what wounded a number of civilians.
