The Syria Democratic Forces reach 16 kilometers in the western countryside of Manbij and control about 100 villages

The Syria Democratic Forces which is composed of joint Arab – Kurdish forces continue to advance in the countryside of Manbij city, where these forces managed to achieve an advancement at the expense of the “Islamic State” and control more villages in the city’s countryside, rising  the number of villages controlled by them since the start of operations in the countryside Manbij at the 31st of May 2016 to about 100 villages, while these forces reached 16 kilometers west of Manbij city, aiming to reach the strategic road of al-Bab – al-Rai and the Qabasin town in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, the clashes coincided with intense airstrikes by the coalition’s warplanes on Manbij city and its countryside.
