We in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights believe that the number of casualties in the ranks of the “Islamic State” and other Islamic Factions is much more than the number we were able to document, due to the extreme secrecy by the targeted parties about their human casualties.

We in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights call upon the international coalition to be very careful in the military operation of Manbij, due to the presence of tens of thousands of civilians inside Manbij city, which –in case it was targeted by inaccurate air and missile strikes– will cause tens of new massacres against civilians, also after 22 months of the start of the international coalition’s operations in Syria, we renew our condemnation of the targeting of civilians by the coalition, which their missile strikes and warplanes’ bombing in areas of Syria have resulted in the death of about 600 Syrian civilian citizens, including 252 children and women, and we strongly emphasize that the shelling, targeting and the military operations should be out of civilian areas, where mainly civilian Syrians were killed, wounded and displaced as a result of the shelling that targeted areas of their presence, while the international community continues to its awful silence toward the Syrian people’s pain, and their hopes of reaching a country of justice, equality, democracy and freedom, And to put their murderers to trials in the specialized courts so they and their commanders and instigators get their punishment.
