About 1100 children and women between 2766 citizens killed by Russian airstrikes during 10 months

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was able to document the death of 7457 civilians and fighters from the rebel and Islamic Factions and Jabhat Al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Levant) and the “Islamic State”, during the past 8 months, since the 30th of September 2015 until the 30th of July 2016, of whom were killed in thousands of airstrikes that targeted several provinces in Syria, since the start of Russian strikes in the 30th of September 2015.

And the casualties are as follows:

–2766 Syrian civilian citizens, and they are:

677 children under the age of 18
422 citizen woman over the age of 18
1667 male over 18, and;

– 2527 members from the “Islamic state”, and;

– 2164 fighters from the rebel and Islamic factions and Jabhat Al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Levant) and the Islamic Turkestan Party and fighters from Arab and foreign nationalities.

Recently, Russian warplanes used the “Thermite” which is contained in 500kg Incendiary cluster bombs, type ” RBK-500 ZAB 2.5 SM” it contains tiny bombs ((AO 2.5 RTM)) packed with the “Thermite”.

tory for Human Rights, despite the continuous claims by the international community for protecting the civil Syrian and concerning for his life, but Russia -the permanent member in the UN Security Council- has become a key partner in killing the Syrian civilians on a daily and continuous basis, under the pretext of fighting the “Islamic State”, amid the silence of the international community and the UN envoy to Syria about the ongoing crimes against the sons of the Syrian people.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights renewed its condemned for the continued targeting of the civilians in Syria, and we call on the UN Security Council and the United Nations, to work seriously and immediately in order to stop the daily killing of the Syrian people, who wish to reach to a country of freedom, democracy, justice and equality, the country that guarantee without discrimination the rights of all of the components of the Syrian people.
