The Syrian Observatory Syrian call on the countries on charge of the decision in Syria not to take Fath al-Sham as a pretext for targeting Syrian civilians

 

Rescue teams continued during the hours of last night their operations of lifting and removing debris, in search for survivors under the rubble of the buildings which were targeted and destroyed by the warplanes in Idlib city market, it is unknown whether the warplanes were Russian or Syrian, the targeting took place at the afternoon of Saturday the 10th  of September 2016, which caused tens of casualties and injuries, where it rose to 62, the number of people documented by the Syrian Observatory for human rights so far of whom were killed in a massacre carried out by the warplanes in the city of Idlib, and within the overall total of casualties there are 13 children, 13 citizen women and seven people whom identities are still unknown until now, while the Syrian Observatory for human rights documenting the death of 2 citizens, they were killed when warplanes bombed the city of Jisr al-Shughur in the west of Idlib province.

 

 

Rising to 97, the number of people killed by warplanes yesterday in the provinces of Idlib, Aleppo and Rif Dimashq, also 30 persons, including 9 children under the age of eighteen and 8 citizen women over the age of eighteen, were killed by warplanes’ bombing over areas in Aleppo city and its western countryside, they are 12 citizens (including 2 citizen women and a child at least) killed by warplanes’ bombing over areas in the neighborhoods of the al-Salhin, al-Marja, Bostan al-Qasr, al-Harableh and al-Rashedin in Aleppo city, and 12 others including 4 citizen women and 4 children, they were killed by warplanes’ bombing over areas in the town of Batbo in the western countryside of Aleppo, also 5 people from one family were killed, they are a woman and 4 of her children, they were also killed by warplanes’ bombing at places in Jam’eyyat al-Rahhal area in Kafrnaha town at the western countryside of Aleppo, as well as a citizen woman was killed by warplanes’ bombing on areas in the town of Anjarh in the western countryside of Aleppo, SOHR also documented the death of 3 citizens (one of them is a child) in warplanes’ bombing over Douma city in the Eastern Ghouta.

 

 

 

The airstrikes at the neighborhoods of Aleppo city, towns in its western countryside, the market of Idlib city, Jisr al-Shughur city and the city of Douma in the Eastern Ghouta have injured about 300 people, some of them are still in dangerous situations, others were severely wounded and had a physical disability.

 

 

We, in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights strongly condemn these massacres against the civilian Syrian people, hours after a cease-fire announcement by the secretaries of the two States in charge of the decision in Syria, we ask them and the international envoy Staffan de Mistura not to take the pretext of fighting the “Islamic State” and Fath al-Sham Front (al-Nusra Front formerly) in order to continue killing the Syrian civilians, whose only dream is still to reach a country of justice, democracy, freedom and equality, a country that guarantee the rights of all its citizens, without distinction between religions, sects or ethnics.
