Violent clashes between the Turkish forces and the “Euphrates Shield” against The Syria Democratic Forces near Marea

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights from was informed by several reliable sources that violent clashes are taking place in the vicinity of the villages of Sheikh Issa, Herbel and Um Hosh near Marea city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where clashes are taking place between Turkish forces and the rebel and Islamic Factions of the “Euphrates Shield” against the Syria Democratic Forces, amid heavy shelling with tens of rockets by the Turkish forces and their tanks targeting areas controlled by SDF in Herbel, Sheikh Isa, Hsajek, al-Hesyeh, Shahba Dam, Qolsruj and other areas in the countryside Marea.

 

At least 13 fighters of “Euphrates Shield” factions and 3 fighters of SDF were killed during clashes between them in the countryside Marea during the past 24 hours, while 15 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces and 4 civilian citizens were killed in shelling by the Turkish warplanes on SDF controlled areas in the countryside of Marea about 3 days ago, also several intersecting sources confirmed to the Syrian observatory for human rights that Turkish tanks were seen moving from the countryside of al-Rai toward the south, where they reached Tal Maled area near Marea and they were seen near the village of Sheikh Issa, the factions are trying to regain control of Tall Rifaat town and other areas controlled by the factions which are controlled by the factions of Syria Democratic Forces.
