Clashes in at the northern countryside of Homs and in Deir Ezzor

Homs Province, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The warplanes renewed the targeting at the areas of outskirts of Sukhna and al-Mohr oilfield in the eastern countryside of Homs, amid continued clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” in the vicinity of al-Mohr oilfield, and information about casualties in the ranks of both parties, also clashes renewed between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the factions in the vicinity of Rastan city north of Homs province, and information about casualties in the ranks of both parties.

Deir Ezzor Province, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Warplanes targeted places in the neighborhoods of al-Kanamat, al-Hwiqa and al-Hamidiyyeh and Hawijat Sakr area in Deir Ezzor city, which injured several people, and information about casualties, while clashes continued sporadically between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor airbase, amid shelling by the regime forces and warplanes at the clash areas. The activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights were informed by reliable sources that an old man died affected by injuries of the “whipping” by “al-Hisba” in the headquarters of “al-Hisba” at Busayrah city in Deir Ezzor province, where the sources confirmed to the activists of the observatory that “the Islamic Hisba” of the organization arrested the old man yesterday in the city of al-Busayrah in Deir Ezzor province, and whipped him “200 times” on charges of “trafficking in cigarettes”,  the old man died today in his home after he was released from the prison.
