Regime forces attempt to regain control of areas they lost in the first round of Aleppo battle

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that violent clashes broke out between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them from Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the rebel and Islamic Factions, Fath al-Sham Front and the Islamic Turkestan Party, where the fighting is concentrated in the areas of Al-Assad Suburb, Menyan and project 1070-apartment, in an attempt by the regime forces to restore areas that they lost yesterday, amid heavy shelling by the regime forces and the factions targeting positions of the regime forces in the area, while warplanes and helicopters targeted with missiles and barrel bombs sites and positions of the factions at the front stretching from the outskirts of Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a neighborhood down to the southern and southwestern outskirts of Aleppo city.
