An explosion in Tal Abyad town and clashes in the vicinity of Tal al-Samn

Al-Raqqah Province, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The sound of a violent explosion was heard in the town of Tal Abyad, local sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that it was caused by an IED explosion planted in a car in the center of the city which is located in the Syrian–Turkish border north of Al-Raqqah province, which caused injuries, while clashes continue between the Syria Democratic Forces against the “Islamic State” in the vicinity of the town of Tal al-Samn in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, and other areas in the same countryside, amid bombardment by the warplanes of the international coalition on sites and areas controlled by the “Islamic state”, in conjunction with continued displacement of citizens away from the military operations and the nearby areas, to other areas more secure.
