About 60 casualties and tens of wounded in two days of escalating bombardments and massacres in Aleppo and its countryside, the medical ability fails to save lives

The number of casualties in Aleppo city is still on the rise as a result of the escalation of airstrikes on the city since yesterday morning the 15th of November 2016, where it rose to 59 at least (including 10 children, 10 females and 5 unidentified persons) the number of persons documented by the Syrian Observatory human rights today and yesterday in the escalation of aerial bombardment by warplanes and helicopter, and by the missile and artillery shelling by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, also it rose to 24 -including 6 children- the number of casualties of today’s airstrikes on the neighborhoods of al-Sekkary, al-Shaar, Karm al-Biek, Ansari, al-Sakhur and other areas in the eastern section, while the Observatory documented the death of 21 persons , including 3 children and 8 females in a massacre carried out by warplanes in Batbo town at the western countryside of Aleppo today, in addition to the death of two persons in airstrikes at al-Samriyyeh and Anjarh villages at the southern and western countryside, also the Observatory documented yesterday the death of 11 persons, including a child and a citizen woman in aerial and artillery bombardment at the neighborhoods of al-Ferdus, al-Ahmadiyya, Qadi Askar, Masaken Hanano and other areas in the eastern section of Aleppo city, in addition to the death of a man and his wife in raids on areas at the town Kafrnaha in the western countryside of Aleppo, and also the death of a man in aerial bombardment at Khan al-Asal in the same countryside.

It is worth mentioning that the number of casualties of today and yesterday due to the escalated bombardment at the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo may rise because there are tens of wounded people, and some of them are in dangerous situations, amid the deterioration of health and medical situation in the eastern neighborhoods of the city, and the lack of certain medications and the decreased numbers of others, in addition to the lack of specialists of some medical fields. The bombing also resulted in a large destruction in tens of houses and shops in the city and its countryside.
