About 17,000 killed or wounded since the collapse of De Mistora casefire in Aleppo city

Warplanes continue the escalated bombing on the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city for the fourth consecutive day, which happens to be collapse of the truce in Aleppo, and by the artillery and missile shelling on the eastern neighborhood of the city and other areas in the eastern, western, southern and northern countryside, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 2612 civilian citizens including 857 children under the age of 18 and 307 citizen women over the age of 18, in addition to the injury of thousands of others, since the first hours of the collapse of the Russian – American truce at 22nd of April 2016 until today.

Where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 1517 civilian citizens, including 288 children and 129 citizen women, were killed in airstrikes by the regime’s and Russian warplanes and regime’s helicopters on the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented 212 citizens, including 52 children and 18  citizen women, killed in artillery shelling by the regime forces on places at the eastern part of Aleppo city.

Also the observatory documented 212 casualties including 52 children and 18 citizen women; they were killed by the airstrikes of the regime’s and Russian warplanes at the countryside of Aleppo.

Also 828 persons, including 232 children and 151 citizen women, they were killed in the fall of shells which were launched by factions on regime forces’ controlled areas in the western neighborhoods of Aleppo.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 35  citizens including 9 children and 4 women; they were killed when the factions launched shells at areas in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood which is inhabited mostly by Kurdish citizens and controlled by YPG.

A woman with her child and uncle in addition to 2 women and 2 children from the same family were killed by shells exploded in Sekkari neighborohood, and 5 civilians including 3 children and 2 women killed by an explosion in old Aleppo.

We in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights call for the international community to find a solution for the conflict in Syria due to the massive raise in the dead numbers amid continued massive bombardment targeting civilians and hospitals, to save whats left in Aleppo, and send the responsible to international courts for what have done.
