Regime’s shelling kills 3 civilians in northern countryside of Homs and raids on the eastern desert

Homs Province, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Two explosions were heard in center of Homs city, they were caused by the fall of 2 missiles on locations at Karm al-Loz neighborhood in the city, no information about casualties so far, also clashes renewed in the vicinity of the fields of Mohr and Shaer for oil and gas at the eastern desert of Homs, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them on against members of the “Islamic State”, in an attempt by the regime forces to achieve advancement in the area, where the clashes accompanied by exchange of shelling between both parties, while warplanes bombed areas in the vicinity Jeb al-Jarrah township and other places in Shandakhyat area eastern of Homs, also more than 17 shells fell on areas in the village of Umm al-Serj which is controlled by the regime forces in northeastern countryside of Homs, resulting in material damage, no information about injuries, also the regime forces shelled areas in the town of Al-Ghantu and the village of Umm Sharshuh in the northern countryside of Homs, in conjunction with targeting by the regime forces for Umm Sharshuh with heavy machineguns, which killed four people -three of them are children- at least and wounded several others, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
