The clash are still taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” in several areas in the eastern countryside of Homs, where clashes are taking place on the outskirts and near Palmyra city, where members of the organization were able to achieve new advancement toward the city after violent and successive attacks since the dawn of the today, in which they ignited several fronts simultaneously in the areas of Jazl, al-Mohr and Shaer fields of oil and gas, and the areas of Hwisis and Arak, Palmyra Silos, al-Hayyal Mount, al-Sekkary area, the ancient Palace of al-Hallabat, the abandoned battalion near T4 airbase, and by doing so the organization was able to achieve more advancement and control Hwisis area near Jeb al-Jarrah, and regain control of al-Hallabat Palace and large parts of al-Hayyal Mount, as well as advancing in Jazl area, the clashes were accompanied by heavy and intense shelling, while the military reinforcements for the regime forces have arrived, to try to regain control of the points they lost today, while members of the organization were able to capture 4 members of the regime forces, including an officer at least.
