SDF reach 8km from al-Tabaqa city

Raqqa province: Clashes continue between IS and SDF backed by the coalition airstrikes in the northern and western countrysides of Raqqa, in an attempt by SDF to isolate Raqqa city from its countryside, as SDF advanced in tens of farmlands.

SOHR was informed that SDF is trying to advance in al-Furat river around Jaer area and its castle reaching 8km from al-Furat river, closing to al-Tabaqa strategic city which is a main bastion of the IS that contains commanders and IS prison.
