Assassination attempt for Abu Nimr al-Suri who booby-trapped his daughter Fatima and detonated her in the center of the capital Damascus
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information that unidentified gunmen opened fire on Abdul Rahman Shaddad known also as Abu Nimr al-Suri, who booby-trapped his daughter and detonated her in al-Midan Police Department in the 16th of December 2016, were the information reported that Abu Nimr al-Suri was shot when he was in Teshreen neighborhood at the outskirts of capital Damascus, between the neighborhoods of Qaboun and Barzeh, and preliminary information about his death.
