Regime forces start a violent attack near the T4 airbase in Palmyra desert after more than one month for organization’s attack and control of wide areas of Palmyra and its desert

Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Warplanes carried out several raids on areas at al-Sawwanah, the vicinity of Palmyra city and in the villages of al-Tayyas and al-Sharifah in the eastern countryside of Homs, in conjunction with continued violent clashes between the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in areas at the vicinity of T4 airbase and the area around the Fourth Station, amid advancement for the regime forces and restoring points in the vicinity and outskirts of al-Tayyas village near the airbase, in conjunction with exchange of shelling between both parties, no information about casualties so far by the shelling and clashes, where the regime forces started a violent attack on areas in the vicinity of al-Sharifah, al-Tayyas, T4 airbase and the Fourth Station in the Western desert of Palmyra, in an attempt to regain control of the positions lost for the organization more than one month ago.
