A massacre against displaced persons carried out by regime’s warplanes claim the lives of 11 persons in Qasr al-Bureij village

Demonstrations took place in Babkeh village and Atareb town in the western countryside of Aleppo, where protesters demanded an immediate halt of fighting between the major factions which operate in the Aleppo and Idlib against Fateh al-Sham Front, and they called them to unite and put aside their differences, while a woman was seriously injured (which resulted in the amputation of one of her legs) by a mine explosion in al-Wardiyya area in ​​the countryside of Azaz in the northern countryside of Aleppo, while it rose to 11 at least, the number of persons who were killed in a massacre carried out by helicopters of the regime in the village Qasr al-Bureij, after targeting a school area inhabited by displaced people from areas controlled by the “Islamic State” organization in the northern countryside of Aleppo, among the casualties there are 10 civilian citizens most of them are from one family, including two children under the age of eighteen and a citizen woman, while the last person is still unidentified, all of them were killed in bombing over the village, which is located about 15 kilometers to the southeastern countryside of al-Bab city, and lies about 16 km from Deir Hafer town located in the eastern countryside.

The operations of intensifying the bombing on the eastern countryside of Aleppo city comes in conjunction with the continuation of the military operation by the regime forces for the 7th day in a row, where violent clashes continue between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them under the leadership of the Tiger Groups of the officer in the regime forces Sohail Hassan against the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, which is heading toward the southwestern area of al-Bab city, the regime forces managed -under a cover of the bombing which accompanies the clashes- to achieve a new advancement and control 4 villages, they are Om al-Amd, Sarbas, Tal Rahal and al-Husamiyah, and this advancement came after controlling in the past 72 hours the farms reaching to al-Madyouniyyeh area and the areas and villages of Om Adseh, Khan Hfirah, Sarja Sghireh, Sarjah Kabira, Maran, Soran, Brelhin, Tanbur, al-Mantar and other areas in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, during a week of violent clash that started by the regime forces on the 17 of January 2017, which killed tens of members in the ranks of both parties. .

It is worth mentioning that the operation which was launched on the 17th of January 2017, by the regime forces led by al-Nemr (Tiger) groups which is led by the Brigadier Suhail Hassan, who was promoted to this grade and appointed also the head of the branch of air Force intelligence in the northern Syrian area, also this operation came after the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them led by regime forces’ Brigadier Sohail al-Hassan, known also “al-Nemr” (the Tiger) were able to advance in the eastern countryside of Aleppo and regain control of the strategic Power Plant, which used to be a stronghold for the “Islamic State” organization in mid-February 2016.
