The regime forces led by the “Tiger Groups” advance towards al-Bab city once again and control the 18th area in the operation’s 9th day

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
A person was killed in the fall of shells on places at Hamdaniya area which is under the control of the regime forces in Aleppo city, where about 10 persons were injured in the fall of shells, while a young man was killed by the explosion of a mine in the neighborhood of al-Sekkary yesterday, also the regime forces shelled areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, no information about casualties.

In the same context, the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them managed to control al-Mamoun University and al-Madyouniyyeh village and its farms, following a violent clashes after an attack carried out by the regime forces, led by Tiger Groups for the 9th day in a row in the eastern countryside of Aleppo and the southwestern area of al-Bab city.

It is noteworthy that the wide military operation by the regime forces was led by the Brigadier Suhail Hassan, who has a previous experience in the same area back in 2016 that ended by the regime forces’ control of the Power Plant in the mid of February 2016, where the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them have launched their military operation in the 17th of January 2017, and were able today -which is after a weak of their attack- to control 17 village and town, and reach to about 8 km away of the southwestern area of al-Bab city, the regime forces are now on the contact line with “Euphrates Shield” which are west of al-Bab city, these clashes for the 8th day between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization; which are accompanied by intense artillery and air shelling, and exchange of targeting between both parties, have killed tens of members of both parties in addition to injuring tens of others.
