After closing the road of advancement in the regime’s face southwest of al-Bab, Turkish forces advance to complete the siege on the city, and control the largest strongholds of the “Islamic State” organization in Aleppo alone

The sound of loud explosions and gunfire continues in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, since this morning Thursday the 2nd of February 2017, where the violent clashes are taking place since the early hours of the morning between the Turkish forces and the rebel and Islamic Factions of the “Euphrates Shield” against the” Islamic State” organization, where the first mentioned were able to advance at the expense of the organization and control Amaya area and a hill and 2 farms at least near it east and southeast al-Bab city and Bzaah town, and the violent clashes were accompanied by heavy shelling that still continues by the Turkish forces and warplanes on the clash sites.

 

Also the intense strikes by Turkish forces and warplanes on areas in al-Bab city and other areas controlled by the “Islamic State” organization in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo have resulted in the death of a person at least and injured several others , rising to 290 civilian casualties including 59 children under the age of eighteen and 32 citizen woman over the age of eighteen, the number of persons who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for human rights in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo due to the Turkish bombardment on al-Bab city and its countryside and the towns of Bzaah and Tedef, since the 13th of November 2016, the date of the arrival of the “Euphrates Shield” to the outskirts of al-Bab city, and until the 2nd day of February 2017, and within the casualties there are 229 civilians including 50 children under the age of eighteen, and 28 citizen women were killed in shelling by Turkish forces and Turkish warplanes on areas in al-Bab city and other areas in the towns of Tedef and Bzaah, and other places in the countryside of al-Bab, since the first defeat for the Turkish forces in the 21st of December 2016 at the hands of the “Islamic State” organization.
