Turkish bombing kills 38 in al-Bab area

The continuous clashes since the 7th of February 2017 have coincided with tens of air raids carried out by Turkish warplanes which targeted al-Bab city and other areas in the towns and areas controlled by the organization and its surroundings, in conjunction with violent and intense shelling by the Turkish forces and raids by other warplanes believed to belong to the coalition, rising to 38 at least, the number of persons who were killed in the Turkish artillery and air shelling on al-Bab city since the start of the attack of the “Euphrates Shield” and the Turkish soldiers on al-Bab city on the 7th of February, raising to 328 civilians casualties at least, including 67 children under the age of eighteen and 37 citizen women over the age of eighteen, of who were killed as a result of the Turkish shelling on al-Bab city and its countryside and on the towns of Bzaah and Tedef, since the 13th of November 2016, the date of the arrival of a “shield Euphrates” to the outskirts of al-Bab city, and until the 9th of February 2017, and among the casualties there are 267 civilians, including 58 children under the age of eighteen and 33 citizen women, they were killed in shelling by the Turkish forces and Turkish warplanes on areas in al-Bab city and other areas in the towns of Tedef and Bzaah and other places in the countryside of al-Bab, since the first defeat for the Turkish forces in the 21st of December 2016 at the hands of the “Islamic State” organization.

Turkish bombardment continue targeting the area amid continued clashes between al-Furat Shield factions and IS around northern and western Aleppo.

The clashes also continue between regime forces backed by Hezbollah and Russian artillery against IS in an attempt by the regime to advance in Abo Taltal area 3km from al-Bab city, as the regime is closer to Tadif.
