The Syrian Observatory For Human Rights

620 civilians at least lost their lives within 6 weeks of the clinically dead truce of the Caesar and Sultan

The first 6 weeks of the truce have passed, it was started on the 30th of December 2016, and it did not save the Syrians as it should have done, instead, it escalated the pace of breaches by the day, and also expanded to include even more areas.

With the continuation of clinically dead ceasefire for 42 days in a row, it rose to 262, including 72 children and 43 citizen women, the number of persons who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for human rights in several Syrian areas, they are:
104 citizens including 28 children and 13 citizen women, they were killed in airstrikes on the countryside of Idlib, Homs, Aleppo, Hama, Daraa, Eastern Ghouta and Rif Dimashq,
and 80 including 22 children and 15 citizen women were killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Wadi Barada, Eastern Ghouta, areas in Rif Dimashq, countryside of Homs, Aleppo, Daraa, Hama and the outskirts of Damascus the capital,
and 28 including 4 children and a citizen woman were killed by sniper shot by the regime forces in Daraa city, Madaya, Wadi Barada, Beqin, Douma in Rif Dimashq and al-Qaboun in Damascus,
and 24 including 6 children and 3 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by factions and landed on areas in the town of al-Fu’ah and the cities of Aleppo, Daraa and Homs,
and 2 children were killed in strikes by unknown warplanes on Neirab area in the countryside of Idlib,
and 24 including 10 children and 11 citizen women were killed in strikes by unidentified warplanes on the city of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also documented in the out-of-the-truce areas the death of 358 citizens including 81 children and 53 citizen woman; they are:
21 citizens including 6 children and 4 citizens were killed in bombing by warplanes on areas in al-Mayadin and the villages of Eniq, Bajra, Rasm al-Abd, al-Jruh and Bel’aas area in the eastern countryside of Hama,
and 102 including 22 children and 22 citizen women were killed in the city Deir Ezzor; they are 58 including 10 children and 14 citizen women were killed in bombing by warplanes on Deir Ezzor city and the towns of Muhassan and Al-Boleel in its countryside,
and 44 including 12 children and 8 citizen women were killed in shelling by the “Islamic State” organization on areas controlled by the regime forces in Deir Ezzor city,
and 134 people including 25 children and 16 citizen women were killed by shelling by the Turkish forces on areas in al-Bab city and the towns of Tedef and Bzaah, which are controlled by the “Islamic State” organization in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo,
and 26 persons at least including 4 children and 2 citizen women were killed in massacres carried out by the unidentified warplanes until this moment on Tedef town and al-Bab city and Bzaah town located in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.

And 10 persons including a woman and 5 of her children were killed in shelling by the Turkish forces on the town of Arima in the western countryside of Manbij, which is controlled by fighters of Manbij Military Council ,
and 21 including 7 children and 3 citizens were killed by aerial bombardment on places in Maskanah town and al-Tafri’aa village in the eastern and northeastern countryside of Aleppo and on areas in Tedef, and 13 including 4 children and 2 citizen women were killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Abu Taltal village and the outskirts of Tedef town in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo,
and 35 people including 6 children and 2 citizen women were killed in bombing by warplanes believed to belong to the international coalition on areas in the deserts of al-Sa’wa and Khasham in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, and Debsi Efinan, Dabaan, Kasr Sheikh Jumaa, Swidiyyeh Kabira and other areas in the countryside of Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqah,
and 2 children and a man were killed by targeting by the “Islamic State” organization and the regime forces in the Eastern al-Qalamoun and the northeastern countryside Aleppo,
and a man and a citizen woman were killed by airstrikes carried out by unidentified warplanes which targeted area in al-Bal’oum roundabout in al-Mayadin city east of Deir Ezzor province,
and a man was killed in the fall of shells on the countryside Al-Raqqah.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented in the 42 days before the truce numbers the number of civilians who were killed during it, where the observatory documented in the areas that have been listed as truce areas the death of 1204 citizen civilians including 239 children and 151 citizen women, they were killed by bombing by warplanes and helicopters of the regime forces, the fall of shells and sniper fire in the Eastern Ghouta, Rif Dimashq, Aleppo city and its countryside, Daraa, Idlib, Hama and other Syrian areas.

Also the observatory documented in the 42 days before the truce the death of 465 civilian citizens, including 99 children and 72 citizen woman, they were killed in airstrikes by warplanes, Turkish forces and the regime forces, and also by the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and al-Bab city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, and in bombing by the international coalition.
