Turkish forces commit a massacre in al-Bab city and kill 24 civilians the majority of them were children and women

Turkish forces and rebels under the flag of al-Furat shield are still unable to take control on al-Bab city after 3 months of reaching its outskirts in the 13th of November 2016 until today, committing massacres against civilians of the area, and losing battles, the first battle against the IS in the 21st of December 2016 when the IS prevented the Furat Shield factions from entering the city, what made the Turkish forces begin a military operation in the 7th of February in order to reach al-Bab city.

The continuous clashes since the 7th of February 2017 have coincided with tens of air raids carried out by Turkish warplanes which targeted al-Bab city and other areas in the towns and areas controlled by the organization and its surroundings, in conjunction with violent and intense shelling by the Turkish forces and raids by other warplanes believed to belong to the coalition, 24 civilians including 11 children and women were killed in the past 24 hours, raising to 409 civilians casualties at least, including 85 children under the age of eighteen and 48 citizen women over the age of eighteen, of who were killed as a result of the Turkish shelling on al-Bab city and its countryside and on the towns of Bzaah and Tedef, since the 13th of November 2016, the date of the arrival of a “shield Euphrates” to the outskirts of al-Bab city, and until the 16th of February 2017, and among the casualties there are 318 civilians, including 76 children under the age of eighteen and 44 citizen women, they were killed in shelling by the Turkish forces and Turkish warplanes on areas in al-Bab city and other areas in the towns of Tedef and Bzaah and other places in the countryside of al-Bab, since the first defeat for the Turkish forces in the 21st of December 2016 at the hands of the “Islamic State” organization.
