After a month of military operations, regime forces advance over IS in 50 areas

Regime forces finished the first month of military operations led by Suhel al-Hasan backed by Hezbollah forces and Russian artillery, the operation which started in the 17th of January witnessed advances for the regime forces over IS in the eastern countryside of Aleppo taking control on 46 villages and hills including Aran, Der Hafir, reaching Tadif southern outskirts, the IS is still taking control on Tadif, even it was forced to pull back into its bastions in al-Bab city.

SOHR was informed that the regime continue its attempt to advance towards Tadif, reaching 21km from the city and 5km from Tadif near the military airport of Kweres which is taken over by Regime forces which were able to take cntrol on Hamima Kabira and Hamima Saghira.

The clashes accompanied by massive bombardment by regime artillery, Russian artillery and aerial bombardment leading to human losses in both sides.
It is worth to mention that regime forces led by Suhel al-Hasan were able to advance in the eastern countryside of Aleppo taking control on the electricity station which was bastion for the IS earlier in 2016
