Clashes in the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta and calm continues in the rest of the areas

The clashes continued after midnight yesterday in Teshreen neighborhood area at the eastern outskirts of the capital and in the west of the international highway of Damascus – Homs at the outskirts of Harasta city in the Eastern Ghouta, between the Fajr al-Umma brigade against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting between both parties, no information about casualties yet.

In a related context the calm is still prevailing the Eastern Ghouta since the sunset of yesterday the 7th of March 2017, except for the outskirts of Harasta, where the Eastern Ghouta is witnessing a calm situation in terms of the shelling and clashes, after the intense raids and artillery and missile strikes yesterday, which  targeted areas in Arbin, Harasta, al-Marj area and Hazrama, while one of the raids targeted an elementary school in the town of Outaya, and the airstrikes and shelling on in the Eastern Ghouta yesterday caused the death of a man and a child, and injured about 30 others, including about 10 students of the children, while a person was killed and several others were injured in shelling by the regime on Barza neighborhood yesterday.
