Number of Casualties of Damascus bombings rise to 74, others are still in critical conditions

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that it rose to 74 at least; the number of persons who were killed in the 2 explosions that hit Shaghour area in the center of the capital at the noon of Saturday the 11th of March 2017, and in detail documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the casualties were divided in 2 parts, the first part is 54 visitors of Syrian and Iraqi nationality including 8 children under the age of eighteen and 11 female, while the second part of them is 20 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them including 16 members of regime’s police and gunmen loyal to them. Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian observatory that the blasts took place sequentially, where an explosive device detonated near Bab al-Sghir Cemetery then the visitors from 9 buses gathered after the detonation; and that is when a person blew himself up in the gathering killing and injuring tens of them, of which 74 were confirmed dead due to both blasts, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
