About 22600 civilians killed by Aerial bombardment in Syria since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution

The Syrian Observatory for human rights documented since the 20th of February 2017 until the dawn of the 20th of March 2017 more than 3700 air raids at least, carried out by the regime of Bashar al-Assad’s warplanes and helicopter, targeting most of the Syrian provinces.

98 civilians were killed by these airstrikes including 18 children and 16 women in addition to 69 rebels, while others were wounded amid material damages and destruction in civilians properties.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 10583  civilian citizens, they are 2314 person under the age of eighteen, 1525 citizen women over the age of eighteen and 6744 man, and in addition to the killing, they also injured about 62000 other civilians and some of them had permanent disabilities, and also displaced tens of thousands of citizens.

The raids, airstrikes and bombing also resulted in to the death of at least 6407 fighters from the rebel and Islamic factions, Fath al-Sham Front, the “Islamic State” organization, the Islamic Turkestan Party and several other factions.
The raids, airstrikes and bombing also have injured thousands of others.

The airstrikes of al-Assad regime killed 22610 civilians including 4851 children and 3122 women during the period between March 2011 and March 2017.

We in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and through publishing the documented statistics of human losses, which the civilian Syrians are their main victims due to the military operations in Syria, in addition to documenting the war crimes and the crimes against humanity which are continuously committed in Syria, we seek to send a message to the international community, carried through the cries and pain of the Syrian people, perhaps these shocking statistics, cries and pain may move the conscience of this community to act for the immediate sopping of the ongoing murders against the Syrian citizens, and to bring the criminals to the specialized international courts, so they get their punishment.
