About 20 civilians are killed in the massacre of al-Tabaqa furnace by the International Coalition’s warplanes

It rose to 18 at least -including a child and a citizen woman- the number of civilians who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, they were killed in a massacre carried out by the international coalition’s warplanes when they targeted a furnace and several shops near it in the 2nd neighborhood at al-Tabaqa city west of Al-Raqqah, while some of the injured people are still in dangerous situation in addition to missing people whose fate is yet to be known, where the search operations under the rubble of the destroyed buildings continue, this raid targeted the city on Wednesday 22nd of March 2017.

Rising to 138, including 19 children under the age of eighteen and 24 females, the number of persons who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights during these escalation of attacks since the 8th of March 2017 until the 23rd of March 2017, which targeted al-Tabaqa city and other areas in the countryside of al-Raqqah, the airstrikes also injured tens of civilians, and caused destruction and physical damage, also some of the injured persons have had amputation and others had permanent disabilities.
