Factions of Damascus battle withdraw from the outskirts of Damascus and more than 200 were killed of both parties
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by several reliable sources that the Islamic factions of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, Rahman Corps and the Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham withdrew from all its remaining points in the industrial area between the neighborhoods of Jobar and Qaboun at the eastern outskirts of Damascus, the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the factions withdrew to Jobar neighborhood as a result of the madly intense shelling by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, and due to intense raids by warplanes on the capital Damascus.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the battle since its beginning on the 9th of March until the 25th of the same month, and documented significant casualties in the ranks of both parties, where the observatory documented the death of 82 members at least of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, including 9 officers at least. The Syrian Observatory also documented the death of at least 115 fighters of Rahman Corps, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham.
The violent clashes, bombings and exchange of shelling have also injured tens of both parties which may raise the death toll.
