With the end of the 11th day of Hama clashes… the regime forces advance and put the factions 11 kilometers north away of Hama airbase

Clashes are still the taking place in a violent pace between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic Factions and fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in areas at the northern countryside of Hama, in the context of the counter attack of which the regime forces continue to carry out in the area, in an attempt regain control of the entire villages, towns and areas they have lost to the factions during their attack, which was carried out in the northern countryside of Hama in the 21st of March 2017, the Syrian Observatory for human rights was informed that the regime forces managed to advance again and with a cover of heavy shelling and air strikes they have regained control of Abu Obeida checkpoint the and Shaylout village near Muhradah town in the northern countryside of Hama, expanding their control at the expense of the factions which withdrew successively from several areas, also the area of Tal al-Nasiriya is witnessing intense shelling by the regime forces in an attempt by them to regain control of it, also the regime forces managed to keep the factions at a distance of 11 kilometers away north of Hama airbase.

And with this advancement, the regime forces managed with the support of the gunmen loyal to them and the cover of intense shelling, they managed to regain control of the areas of Sheleyot, Abu Obeida checkpoint, Khattab, Rahbat Khattab and its warehouses, al-Majdal, al-Shir, Sobin, Kafr Emym, Kawkab, Shaizar, Marzaf, Arzah, Shiha hill, Peugeot hill, Qaramita, Point 50, Kherbet al-Hijamah, Belehsin, Zor al-Qsi’eiyyieh and the road of Mharda – Hama and checkpoints on this road, while other areas are still beyond the control of the regime forces and controlled by factions, which are Soran, Maardis, Alexandria, Tal al-Abadi, Tal Bzam, Abu Obeida checkpoint, Sheleyot and other checkpoints and sites.

Also the escalation of shelling yesterday have injured tens of people and caused cases of suffocation, and several reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the number of injuries have exceeded 50 people, in the bombing on al-Lataminah, Arzah, al-Zowwar, the vicinity of Qamhana and other areas in the countryside of Hama.
