After restoring areas in the last battle… the regime forces mange to advance and restore Tayyibat al-Imam town at the north of Hama

Violent battles continue between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions including Jaish al-Izzah, al-Wosta Division, Ahrar al-Sham, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and other factions in areas in the northern countryside of Hama, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces managed to advance and control Tayyibat al-Imam town completely, which  was controlled by Jund al-Aqsa organization and the factions in the battle of “Marwan Hadid” late of August and in September 2016, and the regime forces began their offensive in the morning of today after days of continuous intensive and violent shelling on areas in towns and villages of the countryside of Hama; with hundreds of air, missile, and artillery strikes, where the regime with a fire cover secured their advancement and restored the areas they withdrew from last year, after they recovered all the areas they lost in the last attack by the factions on the 21st of March 2017.

While the clashes continue between both parties, in attempt by regime forces to advance in al-Nasiriya area in the northern countryside of Hama, also the clashes continue in Halfaya town which the regime forces lost it in the same period of time they lost Tayyibat al-Imam town.
