More than 30 ISIS members were killed in the clashes of north al-Raqqah and SDF reduced distance to less than 6 km between their both advancing points

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes continue in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah city, with the 4th stage of “Euphrates Wrath” operation enters its 10th day in a row, where violent clashes are taking place between the “Islamic State” organization against the Syria Democratic Forces, supported by the Syrian Elite Forces and International Coalition’s warplanes in areas about 16 kilometers away north of Al-Raqqah city, the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that Syria Democratic Forces  were able to advance and control Hazima town and also started inspecting it after expelling the organization out of it.

This advancement reduced the remaining distance between the 2 points of advancement for the Syria Democratic Forces, and now they are less than 6 km away of each other’s, where the area between them contains farms only without the presence of villages, which reduces the difficulties in front of the Syria Democratic Forces to meet. And the Syria Democratic Forces seek through this advancement to besiege members of the “Islamic State” organization in several villages and farms between the current advancement line of these forces and Tal al-Samn area, or forcing the organization to withdraw out of these villages and farms before besieging them completely, and if the Syria Democratic Forces managed to meet, then they will reduce the distance between them and the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah city to about 16 km.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also documented the killing of at least 30 members of the “Islamic State” organization during the violent clashes that took place against the Syria Democratic Forces in the last 24 hours, where the organization carried out counter-attacks in an attempt to regain control of the Government Farm and Teshreen Farm before the Syrian Democratic Forces start a counter-attack that resulted in their advancement supported by Syrian Elite Forces and International Coalition’s warplanes, and also their control of ​​Hazima area, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of the Syria Democratic Forces.
