More than 20 shells and rockets target the east of Damascus and regime forces target Daraa city

Damascus Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The regime forces shelled areas in the neighborhoods of Qaboun and Teshreen on the eastern outskirts of the capital with 5 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with launching about 15 artillery and rocket shells, and the escalated shelling was accompanied by violent clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against Islamic factions, in an attempt by the regime forces to advance in the area.
