Escalation of air raids on the countryside of Idlib kills 16 persons at least about half of them are children and cause damage to medical centers

 

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
It rose to 16 at least, the number of persons who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, they were killed in the escalation of airstrikes by warplanes on the countryside of Idlib since the dawn of today Thursday the 27th of April 2017, including 7 children under the age of eighteen, and also including members of medical and ambulance teams who belong to organizations that are active in the countryside Idlib, they were killed and in the raids that were carried out by warplanes believed to be Russian on the southern countryside of Idlib, and in targeting the Hospital of the Syrian Medical University in the outskirts of Deir al-Sharqi village, and a medical point area and other places, in addition to targeting areas in Sarja village in Jabal al-Zawiyah, and the death toll is expected to increase because some of the injured people are still in serious condition, also there are still missing persons in some of the bombed areas.

In the same context, the helicopters dropped explosive barrels on areas at the outskirts of Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, but no information about casualties until the moment, also the warplanes carried out several raids on areas in the town of al-Taman’aa in the southern countryside of Idlib and other areas in the towns of Sarmin and al-Neirab east of Idlib city which caused injuries.
